Introduction

Here are some of the answers I have received in response to questions I posted to the Crossfire discussion group on Yahoo groups.

Retreats

Can you retreat move a commander? Yes

HMG moves

Are there any restrictions on HMGs moving and then firing in the same initiative? No

Rallying

Can a suppressed commander set up crossfires or rally troops? No, but a pinned one can.

Smoke

Can smoke be dropped onto your own troops? Various opinions, ranging from "yes" to "no, definitely not, as HE was used for ranging fire prior to smoke".
